Pastors Peter & Heather Freeman met in 1985 and were married in Pontiac, Michigan on December 4, 1993. It was at this time they were called to Eugene, Oregon to answer God’s call into ministry, there they attended Eugene Bible College. In 1996 the Freeman’s moved back east to Springdale, PA (just outside of Pittsburgh) where they served as Youth Pastors, Children’s ministry leaders and Worship leaders. During their time in Springdale they witnessed their youth ministry go from 10 students to over 100 towards the end of their 13 years at Springdale Open Bible Church. While in PA their own family grew, they now have 4 daughters. Then God opened another door for the Freeman’s and in April 2009 they moved to Clarkston, MI as Senior Pastor’s at Harvestland Church. Since then the church has experienced growth & renewal. Pastor Peter & Heather are passionate about the cause of Christ, and consumed with seeing people come into relationship with Jesus.

Both Peter & Heather strongly emphasize the importance of putting 2nd Chronicles 7:14 into practice: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."

Our church believes everyone has a God given call on their life and our prayer is to lead God’s people into discovering their calling.
