I have always lived local to the area, graduating from Brandon High School in Ortonville. I then worked at GM Truck Group in Pontiac for 34 years before retiring in 2006. I have been married to my wife; Lynn, since 1974 and we have two children, our son Brian, and daughter Cyndi. The Lord has also blessed us with seven grandchildren.

I have been attending Harvestland since 1961. I have served as Sunday school teacher, Superintendent, Deacon, Youth leader, and have held the position of Elder since 1996. In June 2007, I received a Diploma in Christian Leadership from INSTE, ( Institute of Theology by Extension)
