Hello, my name is Angela Howe. I have been the Toddler/Nursery ministry leader at Harvest Land Ministries for over seven years. I have a wonderful husband, Matt to whom I have been married since August, 1995 and we have four children, Abigal, Clara, Emma, and Gabriel. I started attending Harvestland, then known as First Open Bible, in 1992 when I began dating my husband.
Since becoming involved in this ministry I have been tremendously blessed.
My eldest child had just graduated from nursery to toddlers, when I was first asked to head this ministry. I prayed and asked the Lord if this was something He was leading me to do. I felt that it was my calling so became the leader. Never in my wildest imagination did I think it would make such an impact on my life. I thought it would be easy to tell these young children about Jesus, that I'd have all the answers and that my spiritual walk wouldn't be challenged. Thank the Lord; I couldn't have been more wrong. I think that I have grown more with these little ones than anywhere else.
I have recently graduated INSTE level 1 and I am also the Daisy Sponsor for our Jr. Youth girls on Wednesday nights. I am and will always be looking to grow spiritually and in my knowledge of our Lord and Savior. I am grateful for the time I have been given to spend with our youngest children here at Harvestland. There are many other women and men who help me in serving our Toddler/Nursery children. If you are looking for a church family, I hope that you would stop in and visit us. The kids and I love to see new faces and to have more friends to play and learn about the Lord with.
Matt. 19:13-15, Jesus Blesses the Children
One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.
Mark 10:13-16, Jesus Blesses the Children
One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.
When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.
Luke 18:15-17, Jesus Blesses the Children
One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering him.
Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”
